Join CFMA GNO and Ryan Kelley and Frank Auberle, Audit and Assurance Services Directors with LaPorte  for: Lessons in Implementing the New Lease Standards. Lunch is included. 

Objectives:

  1. Provide auditors’ perspective as they worked with clients implementing new lease standards.
  2. Provide real examples of how to organize and complete this project.
  3. Provide an understanding of how to perform lease calculations and disclosures.

Ryan Kelley, CPA 

Director, Audit and Assurance Services

Ryan began his career in 2003, serving clients in a wide range of industries. He has performed audits, reviews, and agreed upon procedures for SEC registrants and private entities. Ryan’s experience in multiple industries lets him help companies interpret and apply new or challenging accounting standards. For example, he has provided consulting services to assist with adoption of the new revenue standards, the new lease standards, and conversion from US GAAP to IFRS.

Frank Auberle, CPA

Director, Audit and Assurance Services

Frank began his professional career in public accounting in 2002. He has extensive knowledge in financial reporting under AICPA and PCAOB standards, auditing internal controls over financial reporting, and accounting for business combinations. In addition to audit and assurance services, he regularly serves in an advisory capacity to his clients. For example, he has helped clients develop accounting policies, including understanding the organizational impact of newly adopted accounting standards, such as ASU 2014-09 (Revenues from Contracts with Customers).
