Please join us at the end of March for a discussion about the generational gap in the workplace. Three speakers from McGlinchey Stafford will lead the conversation. Expect to learn: 

1.  To identify members of various generations and learn the frames in which their world view developed and how it impacts their vision in the workplace;

2.  To look at salient employment law issues that can be addressed within the framework of the various generations to an optimal conclusion;

3.  To identify communications strategies that mesh between the different generations for best practices and problem solving in the workplace;

4.  To build work force teams that complement each other by the inclusion of members of various generations for optimal performance.

Mag Bickford, McGlinchey Stafford

Magdalen Blessey Bickford represents businesses and management in labor and employment litigation and provides general legal counsel on a variety of workforce matters. As a provider of management counsel, training, and education, Mag advises employers on best practices in the workplace and on drafting and implementing effective policies and procedures.

Camille Bryant, McGlinchey Stafford

Camille Bryant is a Member in our Labor and Employment and Product Liability practice groups. Based in our New Orleans office, she guides employers through a wide range of employment law issues, whether through litigation or advice and counsel. In the areas of litigation, Camille has experience representing employers in both single-plaintiff and class action litigation. She is well versed in advising employers with respect to independent contractor classification, non-compete agreements, counsel and discipline, wage and hour issues, and employment discrimination. She also advises clients on issues under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including places of public accommodation and website accessibility, and she conducts investigations and trainings for clients. She also negotiates collective bargaining agreements and has coordinated anti-union campaign efforts.

Andrew Albritton, McGlinchey Stafford

Andrew Albritton represents the firm’s clients in a wide variety of matters. In his employment advisory role, Andrew assists with drafting and implementing effective policies and procedures, providing guidance on particular employment scenarios, and complying with regulatory standards. When disputes arise, Andrew represents clients in litigation as well as alternative resolution forums. He supports clients in matters relating to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Labor Relations Act (LRA), Equal Employment Opportunity Act (EEOA), and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and numerous state standards and regulations.
